Game is released as is and development is not going to be continued. This was stated clearly in the description.

So I may have been an idiot for diving straight into this game without reading the instructions and also building loads of stuff that I consequently didn't use!

Anyway, I loved this game, and I will probably play a lot more of it outside of the Let's Play vid that I did. Shame that there'll be no more added to it because it has MASSIVE potential. Great job everyone, thanks for the awesome game!

If you would have looked at the arrows your life would have been easier

Had an awesome time in this game .. Shame about it not being developed anymore though

Thank you so much for the game i would like to be part of the feedback to help develop the gold mine of a game

Game is released as is and development is not going to be continued as explained in store description.

I tried downloading this game a few times now, and always at around 20 mbs it stops and says "Error downloading - Forbidden".

Is there any chance anyone uploads a mirror link on, lets say, mega.nz or something similar? Thanks :*

Hey!

First of all, it'a a shame that the game won't have a continuation, because I really like the idea behind it. It's a nice bond of awesome art-style and gameplay that has it's unique features. I played a little of this game on the channel () and I'm going to explore it a bit in my spare time, because there's a lot of stuff I didn't see.

I won't do detailed ramble about gameplay, visuals and of this stuff as I always do, because the game won't be continued. All I have to say is that it's a neat idea!

Have a nice day! :D

This game is really fun. I can see allot happening to it in the near future. Hopefully the game can go onward even after you finished it, or some way to create more characters to work for you. You can see my gameplay here:

Good Game ! I like !

Good Idea!! <3 :) but it can be better!! Nice try keep going!! <3

Game is released as is and development is not going to be continued as explained in store description.

I like the idea of your game, will there be a Linux version of it?

Game is released as is and development is not going to be continued as explained in store description so there won't be Linux or any other OS versions.

Can authors open source the game?

You could try to contact them directly to ask. Semih Parlayan is probably the best choice seeing he's still in contact with at least two of Anchored's developers thru his involvement with TeamCrew and open sourcing would require consent from everyone involved. He's also main programmer of Raft btw.

Linux version?

Game is released as is and development is not going to be continued as explained in store description so there won't be Linux or any other OS versions.

I tried to build everything and managed to do it! So i made everything and beat the game!

ive been having a lot of issues with the game crashing, hotfix soon?

Deleted post

Would require consent from all six developers involved. Seeing they're no longer together, I find it unlikely.

A week from never. This is the last version the dev team stopped working on it. It is a very nice demo, it is a shame really.

When add save skill???

Game is released as is and development is not going to be continued as explained in store description. As such there will never be a save feature.

Sooo Bad...

What about a GNU/Linux version ? That would be so cool.

Game is released as is and development is not going to be continued as explained in store description so there won't be Linux or any other OS versions.

I cant save and i dont have an "game exit"-button.

A ?Bear? pushed one of my guys in the jungle behind the trees and i dont have any chance to get him back -.-

but i like the game^^

There is no save feature nor will there be one as there is not going to be further development as explained in game description.

It took me about 30 minutes ( no joke) to figure out how to play this LOL or at least how to walk and gather food. Please add a tutorial, because there are more people like me out there. ( Idiots) ANYWAY, I survived 2 days ! I'd say I am a pretty good LEADER wouldn't I. SURE everybody died.... but that's besides the point, right ? ;)

GOOD GAME: Next time, I will be ready for the spider demon things LOL

is this demo?

From game description:

Anchored was part of a course at Uppsala University's Game Design education at Campus Gotland. The version of Anchored that is found here on itch.io is considered a vertical slice (demo or proof of concept) of what a potential fully finished game would look like. The game was finished in June 2016 and unfortunately the development of Anchored is not going to be continued.

me charecters dont move so i need to restart it

OMG I love it!!!!!!!!!!!

i have some problems with buildings sometimes i cant build more buildings (buildings butons are broken)

This game is really fun. I can see allot happening to it in the near future. Hopefully the game can go onward even after you finished it, or some way to create more characters to work for you. You can see my gameplay here:

So I guess what this game is now is all there's gonna be..

This was the most fun I have ever had recording a game for my channel. I absolutely loved this game! Please do not stop updating this game it has so much potential! Also add the save feature, thanks :)

it says forbidden

and network failed

I don't think there is much to do after a short while, I cant get any more people in my settlement and resources are very limited, eventually I die being overrun by the enemy. I hoped I could get more settlements but I'm afraid I think I got to the limit. I wish it was still being built it could have been tonnes of more fun.

Very nice game, just one question is it supposed to end like this?

I hope you guys keep making some new games, if so,I'm looking forward to it!

(Edited 1 time)

You can end the demo by clicking the anchor on the island next to the elevator if you've done everything in available in the demo.

Two of the developers involved (Semih Parlayan and André Bengtsson) along with two other Uppsala University students have set up development studio TeamCrew (http://www.teamcrew.se/) together and already released their first full game, Frog Climbers, on Steam (http://store.steampowered.com//app/485120). Johan Öhman, while not official member of TeamCrew, Composed the climbing music. So half of the original Anchored dev team are still at least collaborating.

This Game is very cool but if i need to eat or what i cant save my game

Food is automatically used from storage building (food in your backpacks, on field or on ground won't be used) and there is not save feature, nor will there be one as development is not going to be continued as explained in store description.

Looking through the comments I'm surprised by the number of people suggesting things to make the game easier. I believe the game is too easy as it stands (and I've heard no more updates so that's a shame too). If I don't mess around, I can build everything on night 3 to float to another place, though that feature wasn't actually added in. Grabbing some stone and wood on the first trip means you can get at least 1 farm built before going back down. Next trip you get a 2nd or 3rd farm and now you're basically set. Set up 4 guard towers around the base and equip everyone with rifles, then cannons after upgrade. Sure some food gets taken if you choose not to win until night 10+, but by that time you have so many farms you can harvest and overfill the base so that it has to draw food behind the day-bar and off the screen.
To people who post on these kinds of games asking for changes to make the game easier, I'd advise playing it a few times first... not sucking... and then decide if the suggestion should be made. The reason I ask this is because if some developer on another game actually takes one of these lousy suggestions seriously, it will ruin the game for everyone who isn't a 9-year-old girl. Thanks so much. :)

TRUTH! I also did not think the game was to easy, it was just right ;)

Just adjusted my strategy and can finish the game seconds before nighttime on day 1. Fastest run yet, but clearly not a game people should struggle with.
I am bummed that this game concept isn't going to be developed further. It had potential.

This game is a really really good game I have had a lot of fun with it well you guys are not going to continue supporting it due to it being a concept, do you think there will be any possibility that someone could pick this game up and continue working on it. For myself i have had a blast playing it and really don't wanna see the game go to waste.

hey what can i do to download this ?. it says forbidden but i want to downnload it i download one of the games and fixed the forbidden sign and now it happened again pls how can i make this work

This is happening on a lot of Itch.io games at the moment, try a different browser or use the Itch.io Program.

so i finished the game and got evertything oyu could wish for, including a food farm wich covers the supply for my setllers and fills up my storage at the same time. So at the end of night 9(due to the massive monster wave on this night i was lagging a lil) the nght lastet for ages even after i killed the monsters well night 10 didnt start after a good minute or 2 of the sun bein in the Nightime bar and my foodmeter is overfloing going behind the time bar XD. so rlly fun game im sad that this wont get developed any further its rlly fun 2 play.

Critters can get stuck sometimes and night won't end unless all of them are either dead or leave on their own so that's probably what happened to you.

A very well made game bringing together the mechanics of This War of Mine, Kingdoms New Lands and an rts interface to create a very interesting colony management/survival game. Very interested to see where this one goes.

As explained in store description, development is not going to be continued so don't expect further updates.

(Edited 1 time) (-2)

when i pressed download and i looked to see how long it takes it needed 2,998 days and 12 hours to download I'm not downloading this crap

Downloads don't start at full speed, they start super slow, before a download gets up to speed of course it's going to say it'll take forever, it was likely still initializing.
